Physical Description: She is 166 centimeters tall and slender, although she is rather well-endowed up top, with long, black hair that is usually worn atop her head in two ponytails and violet eyes.

She is usually seen in the conservative attire of the nobility -- long dresses of a dark color, usually with minimal frills. However, she has been known to wear a short skirt at times to accommodate the unusual weapon that her brother -- something of a mad scientiest as well as a politician -- has designed for her. She usually does not wear jewelry or ornamentation of any kind, although she occasionally will wear a pair of special metal hair clasps on her ponytails -- they had belonged to a friend of hers who met an untimely end.

Although she does not go out of her way to dress to attract men, they usually find her very attractive, largely due to her large, unusually-colored eyes and her figure.

Personality: She usually appears to be very sweet and mild-mannered. However, she stands for absolutely no nonsense, and anyone who crosses her can expect to hear about it in no uncertain terms. This especially is true of her brother, who she loves more than anything in the world, but she can also find him exasperating -- especially when he has invented something she finds strange, impractical or outright bizarre.

She has developed a very strong mental core, much more so than other women of her class. She has no interest in just living a life of ease and priviledge as so many of them do -- she wants to *experience* life. She has ideas about going to university someday, although her brother doesn’t want to let her too far out of his sights. She will often do things that most women of the upper class wouldn’t be caught dead doing -- like serving coffee to her family’s workers, mostly because she enjoys their company, but also because she thinks they deserve a break from time to time.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaponry: Her brother, Komui, whose hobby is crafting various inventions that a lot of people would consider absolutely mad, designed for her a pair of boots that are powered by small engines that allow her to fly for short distances in order to keep her safe. The Dark Boots, as he calls them, went through several incarnations -- the first one actually involved wings on her feet, which were discarded when it was discovered she couldn’t even walk with them, let alone fly. The current version is propelled by windup engines that create bursts of condensed air that can either be propelled out the soles of her shoes to make her jump higher or out the back to push her forward on wheels. Her early attempts to use them were a bit disastrous -- to the point where she began to wonder if they put her in more danger than any assassins -- but she has gained more control over them now. However, she is still reluctant to use them.

Weaknesses: She is prone to bouts of emotion and tears, especially if someone she cares about is suffering. She has been known to rush into a crisis situation -- and casue others to run into it with her -- without fully considering the consequences, which has, on more than one occasion, resulted in disaster. She has been seriously injured trying to rescue a child from a dangerous situation, and once tried to intervene in a particularly nasty confict involving a group of lower-class residents from Tarturus and some of her neighbors, which nearly got her attacked by both sides.

History: Linalee’s family is the oldest of old money, and is highly active poticially. They have always lived in a complex of mansions in Dardenelles, Elysium. However, their position has left them continually vulnerable to those who would like to bring the ruling class down. Linalee and her brother, Komui, were orphaned at an early age when both of their parents were killed by revolutionaries during a coup attempt. They were sent to separate relatives for a long time after that, thinking that they might be safer if they were split up.

Linalee spent most of her time in the priveleged world of boarding schools and charity balls, pretending to go along with all of it but privately wanting something more out of life than just empty artifice and the pursuit of pleasure. More than anything else, she wanted to see her brother again -- she made one genuine attempt to escape from her school and run away, but was captured and confined to her room. When she was allowed out again, she continued to be restless, and would often wander the halls of the building late at night, peeking into windows and doors she knew she shouldn’t be peeking into -- and witnessing at least one scientific experiment which she shouldn’t have seen, an attempt to create a bomb that could blow entire islands away. She was terrified for awhile after the incident that someone would find out what she had seen.

Eventually, she was reunited with her brother after he became a member of the royal Parliament, and he brought her to live with him -- at which point he became extremely overprotective, to the point where she began to feel a bit stifled, despite loving him with everything she had.

The siblings’ luck took a turn for the worse when Komui became the target of an assassination attempt, at which point he decided that she needed a bodyguard, and turned to the Walker family -- which had connections to various groups in the underworld.
